Aghia Galini

Aghia Galini is approximately 1,5 hour drive from Heraklion and Chania and 1 hour from Rethymnon. Originally a small fishing village, Aghia Galini with its streets of white painted houses surrounded on three sides by mountains, opens onto an attractive harbour which still maintains its typical Cretan appeal. It is a friendly harbour village that can be easily reached by bus, taxi or rented car. One can enjoy their stay in different types of accommodation such as hotels, apartments and studios. There is a great variety of taverns and restaurants as well as bars and cafes which make night life in Aghia Galini quite lively.
