Amnatos - Rethymnon

Amnatos is a small beautiful village in the province of Rethymno, 18km away from the city of Rethymno and 4km  from Arkadi. It is 5km away from the historic monastery of Arkadi. The villagers are mostly farmers and stock farmers. There are some Venetian buildings well maintained. At the village square you see the gate that it dates from the 16th AD century.
