Kokkini Chani

Kokkini Hani is on the north coast of Crete, It was once a small fishing village that has now developed into a popular yet relaxed beach resort close to Heraklion. It tends to appeal to families or couples looking for a pleasant but relatively simple and friendly resort with great beaches, low-key nightlife and a good selection of popular resorts nearby, that can be easily reached by frequent buses or a short taxi ride. It has a much quieter feel than nearby Hersonissos, but still offers a good selection of hotels, tavernas and a real beach holiday atmosphere.
